Have been struggling with Anxiety issues when i left my previous job. Believing it to be burnout coupled with Covid times, i didn't think much into the underlying issues and life carries on. One of the best things I've done for myself this year is taking that leap of faith to reach out for support and thankfully finding Chris in that process. I was able to put down my issues with anxiety and sleep that I have been having for the past few years in a mere 5 sessions. It is always comfortable talking to Chris and sharing with him my worries and fears which he is always able to alleviate and soothe without hard effort from me. Chris' therapy sessions are well worth the money I had been suffering from chronic anxiety disorder and depression for many years until one day I decided to make my way out of it. Before I met Chris, I had been nearly mentally collapsed, emotionally paralyzed and at some point, I could not function properly in daily life. I did try traditional psychology consultation but as devoting and helpful as my previous psychologists tried to be, they could never uproot my source of anxiety and depression. What made the situation worse was that they prescribed me a lot of sleeping pills, hoping the medication can help alleviate my condition. It did not, I was becoming even more addicted yet resistant to medication. A simple Google search led me to Chris's website. To be honest, I had a lot of doubts before meeting with him. I came in because my parents were really worried about me spiraling. I'd lost what little appetite I initially had, was highly unmotivated in the things I was pursuing, highly apathetic, and felt a lot of crippling emotions that affected many parts of my life, reinforcing those emotions and building up a cycle of unhealthy escapism. When I first came to meet Chris I wasn't sure that therapy would help. However we're only three sessions in (started last week) and from the first session, I've already started feeling better. Before seeing Chris I had anxiety issues and feeling depressed. I could not motivate myself to do much and was unable to focus. Insomnia was terrible and that affected my health. For many months I've had anxiety issues. I was having panic attacks, dizziness, palpitations, bloating, lethargic sleepless nights, etc. I was only sleeping 3-4hrs a night, I was dependant on Melatonin to give me a good sleep but it wasn't very helpful. I was having anxiety due to some personal issues for nearly 2 years. I also had trouble sleeping, as the anxiety extended even to bedtime. The initial two sessions are indeed effective as he will narrow down your issues like a checklist, ticking them off from it - making you(me) feeling more relieved after every visit. I was 16 when I first came to seek help as I was feeling stressed with my upcoming N Level Exams.
